Booking & Setup

When should I book my bouncy castle?
Our inflatables are popular, particularly during school holidays, summer, and bank holidays. To secure your preferred castle, slide, or obstacle course, it’s best to book as early as possible. Once booked through our online system, your chosen items are reserved just for you.

Can I make a last-minute booking?
We’ll always try to help with late bookings if we can. You can book online until a few days before your event. After that, please contact us directly to see if we can fit you in.

Do you have inflatables suitable for indoor venues?
Yes! Many of our castles, slides, and soft play items can be used indoors. Please ensure your hall or venue has enough space and height clearance, especially for taller inflatables. Remember to allow for lights, ceiling fans, or other obstructions.

How do I know if an inflatable will fit my space?
Each product page shows the required setup space. It’s the customer’s responsibility to make sure there’s enough room for safe use, proper anchoring, and access to the blower.

Can I hire multiple items?
Absolutely! Combine bouncy castles, slides, soft play, or interactive games to create a fun-packed event. Choose from our pre-set packages or build your own combination for birthday parties, school fun days, or village events.

What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
We understand plans can change. Contact us as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. Standard terms apply, but if we have to cancel due to unsafe weather, our Weather Guarantee provides a full refund or credit toward a future booking.

Safety & Compliance

Are your inflatables safe for children?
Yes. All Sundorne Bouncy Castles are built to strict UK safety standards, professionally inspected each year, and PAT tested where applicable. We ensure a clean, secure environment for kids in Bedford, Kimbolton, and nearby villages.

What happens if the weather is bad?
For safety, we do not set up inflatables if wind gusts reach 24mph or more. We monitor forecasts closely and notify you of any changes. If we cancel due to weather, you’ll receive a refund or credit for a future booking.

Do you provide insurance and risk assessments?
Yes. We carry £5m public liability insurance. Risk assessments, PIPA test certificates, and PAT test documents are available to view and download from our website.

Do you provide staff to supervise inflatables?
Most inflatables are left with a responsible adult on-site. Staff supervision is provided for Rodeo Bulls, Surf Simulators, or other activities that require trained oversight.

Power & Equipment

What power supply is needed?
Most inflatables require a standard 13amp mains socket within 25m of the blower. Multi-blower inflatables may require extra power points.

Can I use a generator instead of mains power?
Smaller generators are not suitable for Rodeo Bulls or Surf Simulators. Large diesel generators work well for these items. Petrol generators or blowers can be supplied for an extra fee if mains access isn’t available.

Should I cut the grass before hire?
Please avoid cutting the grass within 72 hours of your booking. Freshly cut grass can block blowers and create mess inside the inflatable.

Do you supply schools, fetes, and corporate events?
Yes, Sundorne Bouncy Castles regularly provides inflatables for schools, village fetes, and community or corporate events across Bedfordshire, including St Neots, Biggleswade, and Waresley.

Can I hire multiple inflatables for larger events?
Yes. For large-scale events, we’ll discuss layout, power, staffing, and safety to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.

Pricing & Delivery

What’s included in the hire price?
Our prices include delivery, setup, all safety equipment, and VAT. Optional extras like overnight hire, late collection, or generators are charged separately.

Do you charge for delivery?
Delivery fees depend on your location. Check your postcode in our online booking system, or contact us if your area isn’t listed.
